Commissions

I've completed a few commission pieces in the past. As I love to paint, but don't play too much I frequently sell off my painted models to make more room on my shelf. I still take a limited number of commissions. Interested parties can drop me a line, I generally charge around twice retail cost of the model but my lead times can be a little long.

TYPHUS LORD OF NURGLE
GAMES WORKSHOP - CHAOS

This was my first commission piece and I did it for a customer who found me through E-Bay.  He never came through on payment so I put it up for auction.  I ended up getting 3x my asking price!  Overall a fun model to paint, so many possibilities for great paint schemes.

REVENGER LIGHT WARJACK

WARMACHINE - PROTECTORATE

My first venture into Warmachine.  I like the pose-ability of the figure.  The arms of this figure meet the body at ball and cup joints.  This allows for limitless choices in how to pose the arms.  I was also impressed with how clean the casting was.  This is an all metal model and was a far cleaner cast than the Games Workshop models I had become accustomed to.

LEGION FELLBLADE
Forge World - IMPERIAL FISTS

This project was an assembly job. My buddy had purchased this Fellblade off E-Bay. It was quite the rescue job. It appeared that it may have been a recast. It needed a lot of work. Pieces were missing, broken or warped. He had also purchased replacement tracks from a third party which didn't fit right out of the box. In the end it came together beautifully.

LEGION SICARAN BATTLE TANK
Forge World - IMPERIAL FISTS

Another resin build, this required a lot of putty, sanding, and clamps. The weapons were all magnetized as well. Yellow is a pain in the butt! The airbrush or rattle can is the only way to lay down quality yellow over a large surface area.

STORM EAGLE
Forge World - IMPERIAL FISTS

Another resin build, this required a lot of putty, sanding, and clamps. The weapons were all magnetized as well.

SALAMANDER
Games Workshop - IMPERIAL GUARD

This commission was for the build and paint of a Salamander Command vehicle to match an existing army. Forge World no longer produces the Salamander kit so I had to make my own. The build was completed using an Imperial Guard Chimera chassis, a few bits, and lots of styrene.

FAMILIARS OF DARKNESS
Rackham Miniatures - FAMILIARS

I loved these models and although I never played Confrontation I picked up these models for the joy of painting. After these were painted I promptly sold them online.

C'TAN NIGHTBRINGER
Games Workshop - NECRON

I enjoyed this model so much I painted it twice and sold it online each time. This was a long time ago and unfortunately this is the best quality photo I have.

RING WRAITH ON FELLBEAST
Games Workshop - LORD OF THE RINGS

I still have one more of these in the box. This one I painted and sold quite some time ago. I added reigns with really narrow gauge wire.
